Preity Rashmi started her writing journey when she encountered the real meaning of poetic world through her Hindi teacher, Sudha ma’am. That was the first time she wrote an assignment in poetry in 9th standard, and just because of the mere appraisal on that work, it became her lifetime hobby.

A resident of Bihar, born and brought up in Rourkela(Orissa), pursued higher education from Chandigarh(UT), completed engineering degree from Ajmer (Rajasthan), started professional journey from Bangalore(Karnataka) and continuing in Pune(Maharashtra), she justifies her diversity of India.

She enjoyed her engineering 4-year phase quite healthily and enthusiastically, even being in girls’ college. It is just a myth that girls can’t be a good engineer. There’s a whole college dedicated only to the talented girls and they stand out in their life.

Now, she is a Software Engineer by profession in Xoriant Pvt. Lmt, Pune. She cherishes the reality of poetries. Her articles have been published in the Unicorn Blog Page and Magazine, Humans of IT Companies, Momaclan, Shiksha.com etc. She enjoys experimenting her poetry skills by participating in various poetry prompts challenges on Instagram.

She is a book nerd, and does book reviews on her blog page. She is also quite active in book reviewing for other platforms too like Half Baked Beans, and for debut authors.

She is Content Writer for "Human Of IT Companies" page, and Assistant Editor for "The Unicorn Magazine"

She is a traveling freak, and never misses a chance to utilize her holidays for a perfect getaway to different destinations. She has keen interest in creating artistic works like Mandala arts and Madhubani paintings. She relishes her free time in listening to songs and admiring the era of music.

She has just started an expedition to the universe of words, and it is going awesome. She wants to become a renowned author some day, and to make an impact on society for a peaceful world.
