Book review #16 : "The Acting MD" by Vikram Mankal

“The Acting MD” is a representation of perfect storyline of today’s lifestyle and unhinged generation’s business tactics. This book will take you to the grand theatres of day-to-day life, its pros and cons of adapting in work culture, and most importantly, the urge to follow passion within your reach.

Vikram Mankal, the author, has perfectly balanced his knowledge in the field of construction sectors and stage performances in this book. He has depicted story plots exactly suited for trending web series, and fabulously maintained each character’s role with twists and dramas. Selection of main characters are apt and presented with physical and behavioral minute details.

Talking about the story, it is more likely the similar stories of Bollywood but with few mended actions and personal touch. Undoubtedly, the proportion of characters’ role are demonstrated to the point, e.g Avinash Rai’s fatherly and top-notch figure, Pranav Rai’s mixed but responsible status, and more. Also, I like the fact of delivering performance with local touch of places like Bangalore and Mumbai. Story comprises of family conundrum, business responsibilities, sidetracked love stories and a dilemma of choosing right decisions of life.

I must showcase the fact that I love the cover page and the paper quality of this book. A book nerd wants nothing more than a smooth page design with awesome compiled format of story.

Overall, this book is a great read, comprised of power packed performance of characters and new thinking approach for any generation.
