Book Review #9: "A Place Called Home" by Meenu Annadurai, Yashika Karamchandini

This book is an amalgamation of curated love and realities. You can never be enough for those who don't matter, and you are everything for the one who means world to you. Whole summary hits you with today's societal pressures and constrained responsibility. This book gives you goosebumps of first love, of heart breaks, of new start, and of predictable endings.

Both authors have precisely understood the values of families, and doodled words with lovely presentation.

I liked the fact that two stories are entwined so beautifully, that they are meant to be Home, a proper tribute to the title of this book.

Characters are clear, true to life, warm toned and full of every days-truth.

Few of my favorites excerpts are:

  • "You don’t find love; love finds you and at the most unexpected of times and in the most unexpected person"
  • "Grieving or feeling pity about oneself is not gonna bring any difference to reality"

A warm short read for those who love to live, and live to love.
