Feelings

I never came out from Piku movie, as a whole. It reminds the tenderness of relationship between a daughter and a father. No matter, how hard - how bad - their endless recounting of phases starts, it always ends with love and homely existence.

My mind just stuck with two prospects, carrying same emotions every time while watching Piku.

Happiness that Bhaskor carries, when he pedaled around streets of his hometown, that place, where he nourishes his childhood with fun and nostalgia, where he feel like a young soul, where he paints layers of memories. Even on the edge of his last scene, he enjoys being free, hopping on jalebi, criticizing the surrounding changes. He was happy. A genuine relief of happiness. Calmed stains of growing old. A pure bliss.

On the other hand, after his death, Piku feels alone. Crying quietly, beside her Baba belongings. An unfeigned expressions. A hungry look for holding on so many memories, his screams, his irritating lectures, his honest feminism, his presence!

These feelings, connects beyond any telepathy, or any freshly bloomed garden in neighborhood, or even any digital media omnipresence. Both understood love and happiness, in their own ways, for their own good.
